A good knitwear OEM factory will not give a lump-sum price. Instead, they itemize every cost:

• Yarn cost (per kg × yarn consumption)
• Knitting processing fee (by stitch type and complexity)
• Linking / looping fee
• Finishing fee (washing, ironing)
• Accessory cost (zippers, buttons, elastic thread, etc.)
• Packaging fee

Factories with opaque pricing are highly likely to raise costs during bulk production.
