Challenge: The brand provided woven-garment design drawings, without a knitwear-specific Tech Pack or clear yarn direction.
Our Approach: Started with a Tech Pack review — converted the woven design drawings into a knitwear pattern plan. Recommended a 70/30 cotton-acrylic blend (balancing hand feel and cost). Development sample ready in 8 days; PP sample ready 10 days after brand approval.
A Cross-Border Women's Brand · Cardigan from Test Style to Best-Seller
Background: The brand tested a cardigan style on Amazon. The initial 300 pcs sold out within 2 weeks, and urgent replenishment was needed.
Challenge: Only 3 weeks between the first order and the reorder. The same yarn batch was required (to avoid color variation), while sleeve length and body length needed adjustments based on size-related return feedback from the first batch.
Our Approach: Retained the original yarn batch number to ensure color consistency. Based on the brand's first-order size return data, adjusted sleeve length +1.5 cm and body length +2 cm. PP sample ready 7 days after modifications, delivery 20 days after approval.
A European Brand Buyer · Men's Merino Wool Sweater Export Order
Background: A European sourcing agent was looking for a men's wool sweater supplier on behalf of a brand. Requirements included OEKO-TEX certified yarn, REACH compliance, and reliable delivery.
Challenge: The brand's size standards were European sizing (2–4 cm larger than Asian sizing), and each batch required third-party test reports (shrinkage, color fastness, fiber composition).
Our Approach: Re-patterned according to the European size chart during sampling (shoulder width, chest, body length to brand specifications). Confirmed OEKO-TEX yarn certificates. Arranged SGS third-party inspection during production, with full measurement inspection and random appearance defect checks.
A Japanese Brand Agent · Fine-Gauge Jacquard Knit Vest Customization
Background: A Japanese brand required a 14G fine-gauge jacquard men's V-neck vest with high-precision patterning, and custom natural horn buttons for the front placket.
Challenge: 14G fine-gauge jacquard requires high weaving precision — any slight inconsistency in yarn tension affects pattern uniformity. The brand also had strict requirements for button color and grain (natural horn buttons have unique grain patterns, requiring individual screening and matching).
Our Approach: Made 3 density adjustments during sampling to ensure pattern clarity. For the buttons, the brand provided reference samples; we individually screened and matched buttons from our inventory by color tone and grain before sewing. The brand visited the factory in person for PP sample approval.
